SEO Case Study for a Local DUI Attorney
A local DUI attorney in Las Vegas, NV was referred to us in December of 2019 with the goal of improving their online presence and organic rankings which ultimately, they believed would bring in more cases. After a few meetings, we were able to get a feel for what the practice was really bringing to the table, understanding more about the reputation, capacity for new cases, reputation in the industry and more. We also completed our detailed on-site and off-site audits to better understand where they were at currently so that we could develop a strategy to accomplish their goals.
After our initial review, we noticed they were currently ranking for 46 keywords, none of them being DUI or criminal related keywords. Most of their keywords were related to personal injury and bankruptcy, which they could also handle, but was not a focus of the firm. We also identified several missing SEO attributes and several inaccurate or missing online listings. Lastly, we noticed the site hadn’t been updated in over 12 months and there was no defined content strategy, only that a couple blogs were written but apparently never made it to the website.

Our Solution:
Over the first 30 days, we focused on tuning up the website, implementing new content, blogs, and updating all of the on-site SEO attributes. Next, we focused on all of the off-site best practices such as creating a series of guest blogs, updating their local listings including Google My Business, Apple Maps, and Bing Local. We also created a series of short videos about the business, highlighting recent success stories and best practices for the website. This combined with a new content strategy and link building strategy would ultimately be a recipe for success.
Results
In less than 90 days, we were able to increase the number of keywords ranking on the 1st page of Google from 46 to 69. Overall, the client saw a 277% increase in website traffic and a 40.52% increase in case load in less than 90 days.
