SEO Case Study for a HVAC Contractor in Tucson, AZ
In March of 2020, an HVAC contractor was referred to us to help them prepare for the upcoming summer season. Historically, they relied on paid advertising sources for their leads which had a significant impact on their bottom line. Upon review of their website and online presence, we found that the client’s website was not optimized properly and there was virtually no content on the website to support their services. In addition, their online presence was in shambles with a 3.4-star rating on Google and an incorrect phone number on Yelp.

Basically, we started from scratch with this client and worked on their project as if they were a new business. We developed a new custom website, implemented a content strategy with 9 new landing pages and a bi-monthly blog, and corrected the clients inaccurate and missing online listings. From there, we worked with the client to add an online scheduling feature to the website, a review widget to increase his ratings online, and referral program so that existing clients could enter to win a gift card for referring people over. We also used our PR for SEO program to create some thought leadership pieces for local media outlets on preparing your HVAC system for the summer and tips to cut down on your electric bill during the summer.
Overall, with the new website and redefined keyword strategy, by May of 2020, we had 4 keywords ranking on the first page of Google for Emergency AC Repair, New HVAC System, AC Repair, and AC Tune up. All of these were high traffic keywords in the Tucson market. By August of 2020, we have increased the number of keywords on Google to 34 and are seeing exponential growth month over month.
