SEO Case Study for a Local Law Firm
In January of 2020, a new local law firm with one practicing attorney was referred to us in Boston, MA with the goal of creating a dynamic online presence and winning SEO strategy. Starting off fresh with any new business is exciting for a marketing company as you get to build the business and watch it grow… Through a series of meetings, we were able to narrow down exactly what he wanted to focus on and the types of cases he felt he could be the most successful with.
No online presence
No track record or historical data
Initially, we identified how potential customers were searching through an extensive keyword research process. We designed the client a new, modern website and implemented an SEO campaign that included both on-page and off-page optimizations around their targeted keywords. We also established over 30 new online listings for the client including Google My Business, Apple Maps, Bing Local, Yelp and more. We created a Facebook fan page and developed a content marketing strategy that included a new blog each week that would be syndicated out to various sources.
As with any new business in a very competitive heading, results were slow initially while we built that trust and authority with Google. Within 60 days, we saw our first 4 keywords pop to the first page of Google. By July of 2020, we were up to 17 keywords ranking on the 1st page of Google!
